SummaryThe Student Services Administrator is responsible for the timely evaluation and assessment of student academic records for its partner and client institutions. This position’s primary function is to evaluate students’ prior academic records from universities and colleges, including GPAs and transfer credits, as well as recommending initial courses to incoming students while providing accurate audits and timely reporting to both the client and internal departments. As a member of the Student Support Services team, it is the overarching responsibility to ensure that the highest level of student and client support is delivered.ResponsibilitiesSpecific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Accurately evaluate students’ prior learning and completed courses and academic programs from Universities.

Accurately calculate and document student’s GPAs in accordance to University and internal policies and procedures

Recommend first course sequence for incoming students

Following the consent process, enroll student in recommended coursework.

Attend all necessary training to ensure accuracy in recommendations for Academic Partner.

Completes audits for Recruitment Services as assigned.

Complete data inquiries, data reports, and analysis as needed.

Complete quality assurance tasks to ensure accurate data and information integrity in CRM.

Provide weekly updates to the Associate Director that includes challenges and opportunities affecting the position.

Ensure adherence to internal and external academic policy.

Maintain updates for Standard Operating Procedures and Academic Program Information.

Coordinate the communication flow of cross functional records activity between Recruitment Services and Student Support Services.

Act as the main point of contact for transfer credit and GPA calculations.

Participate in Admissions, Student Support and Program Services, and client meetings on an as needed basis.

QualificationsQualifications4-year degree from an accredited institution OR appropriate combination of experience and education

One to three years’ experience in a student services role for an accredited University or College preferred.

Experience in assessing transfer credit and a student’s academic record is highly preferred.

Excellent analytic and researching skills, organization, planning and communication (written and oral) skills.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to meet expectations.

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and navigating the internet.

Must be able to perform non-local travel up to 10%.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
