Service Associate Role with an Emphasis on Outstanding Customer Service

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Service Associate role is a cornerstone of customer service and support, primarily dedicated to delivering exceptional operational, customer service, and sales assistance to Financial Advisors. Successful candidates will consistently support office initiatives and contribute to the businesses of specific Financial Advisors. As the primary point of contact for established clients, the Client Associate is responsible for mastering firm policies, procedures, and digital capabilities to facilitate effective interactions with Financial Advisor teams and both new and existing clients.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by delivering outstanding customer service, efficiently processing client requests, and resolving inquiries with a focus on client satisfaction. Conduct proactive outreach calls to enhance client relationships and identify Firm services and solutions, such as digital, online access, and cash management offerings, that meet clients’ needs.

Client Onboarding: Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new client accounts by meticulously collecting required documentation and client information, emphasizing a customer-centric approach.

Resource Utilization: Proactively seek opportunities to leverage firm resources for peer sharing and collaboration with Financial Advisors, ensuring that client service remains at the forefront.

Training and Education: Engage actively in training and education programs to remain current on policies, procedures, and risk awareness, thereby enhancing the quality of customer service provided.

Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisors in daily business practices, including telephone coverage, business travel arrangements, coordination of client meetings, preparation of travel & expense reports, and file & calendar maintenance, all with a focus on enhancing client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

Education and/or Experience:

Preferred: Series 7, 63/65, or 66 (not required) Two or more years of industry experience preferred High School Diploma/Equivalency College degree preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong industry, product, and branch procedures knowledge Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products Team player with the ability to collaborate with others Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
