Job Title: IT Systems Analyst/Support Engineers (Oracle Micros 9700/ Simphony Point of Sale)

Location: Miami, FL

Duration: Full Time

Travel: Willing to travel is a MUST. 80% of Travelling is REQUIRED

Responsibilities:Supports and maintains existing systems, that include focusing on

Oracle/Micros POS systems (Micros 9700/ Simphony Point of Sale)Web-based Reporting Systems, Web-based Food Cost & Inventory Control Solutions, Interfaces, and many other supporting applicationsResolves technical problemsPrompt response times are expectedMonitors vendor orders and reports for Service Level compliance, if requested. Coordinates with vendors to ensure timely repair or replacement of hardware components covered by third-party maintenance agreementsAssists vendors with system implementations, replacement of hardware, and configurationParticipate in application testing for deploymentTests system patches and upgrades and implements standard backup and upgrade processes for existing systemsAddresses any resulting errors.Work with Operations teams on how to use new or enhanced technical systems or updated applications

Qualifications:Strong functional and technical knowledge of

Micros POS preferredStrong desktop support skills and/or POS systems (

Micros 9700/ Simphony Point of Sale) experienceStrong and extensive capabilities to perform troubleshooting for computer applicationsAbility to communicate effectively to Co-workers and Supervisors/ManagersAble to learn new skills and technologiesExpected to handle stressful situations with tact, respect, and patience

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldExperience: 1-3 years of work experience related to desktop support and/or POS systems(Micros 9700/ Simphony Point of Sale)Experience with Micros POS system desired; basic coding knowledge and SQL experience preferred.
