Position Type: W-2 Employment | Full-time preferred (25–42 hrs/week)

You're Role
You'd be working for a home renovation and repair contractor in Grass Valley area, while we are small now we are working towards becoming a world class lean construction company.
We’re seeking a Master Carpenter & Renovation Lead who embodies craftsmanship, ownership, a focus on improvment.
This role is for someone who can transform residential spaces with skill and precision while leading by example. From deck rebuilds and siding restoration to dry rot repair and interior finish work, you’ll be trusted to deliver work that stands the test of time.
You won’t just build projects—you’ll build trust, efficiency, and a stronger team culture rooted in integrity and excellence.

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of professional residential carpentry and renovation experience.
Mastery in framing, dry rot repair, and finish carpentry.
Ability to interpret plans, scopes, and change orders accurately.
Reliable, self-managed, and driven to exceed expectations.
Positive communicator—balances urgency with professionalism.
Valid driver’s license, truck, and full set of professional hand tools.
Strong leadership presence; naturally mentors others without ego.

Responsibilities
Perform high-level rough and finish carpentry with attention to precision and aesthetics.
Execute framing, trim, siding, and decking rebuilds to exacting standards.
Diagnose and repair structural or dry rot damage safely and permanently.
Coordinate with the Production Lead for material staging and sequencing.
Maintain efficient workflow and proactive communication on every project.
Lead by example—mentor, train, and elevate those working beside you.
Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and help refine field systems.
