Job Description
My client is in need of a REMOTE Project Manager to join them on a 6 month contract (possibly longer). The primary objectives of the Project Manager are to improve project outcomes and improve stakeholder satisfaction. The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, report, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with the project owner and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans to include but not limited to project charter, project request, project schedule, and milestones using appropriate tools. Also, Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and brainstorming sessions.
You must have the ability to work 8:30 – 5:00pm eastern time. Must be located in the US.Qualifications
Skills for the position must include:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
Project management certification (Project+, CAPM, PMP, etc.) preferred.
Five or more years of direct work experience in a project management capacity ideally in the financial services arena.
Experience managing small to large-scale projects with varying degrees of complexity.
Experience managing M & A integration projects.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and OneNote
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project or other commercially available tools
