## Part-Time Terminal Cleaner – Operating Room (Hospital EVS / Environmental Services)

Schedule: Every Weekend – Saturday & Sunday

### Position Summary:

We are hiring a Part-Time Terminal Cleaner with at least 1 year of Operating Room (OR) Terminal Cleaning experience in an acute-care hospital. This role is responsible for performing thorough terminal cleaning, disinfection, and environmental sanitation of surgical suites following strict infection control and sterile environment protocols.

### Key Responsibilities:

Perform terminal cleaning of Operating Rooms, including surgical tables, overhead lights, booms, anesthesia equipment, and all high-touch surfaces

Follow all hospital infection prevention, isolation, and biohazard handling procedures

Clean and disinfect surfaces using EPA-approved hospital-grade disinfectants

Remove and dispose of regulated medical waste and biohazard materials properly

Restock supplies and maintain OR cleanliness according to AORN and hospital EVS standards

Complete daily and post-operative cleaning checklists accurately

Maintain compliance with OSHA, PPE, HIPAA, and safety policies

Work collaboratively with Nursing, Surgical Services, and the EVS/Environmental Services department

### Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) terminal cleaning experience

(Required: hospital experience in a surgical or procedural environment)

Knowledge of infection control, aseptic cleaning, and sterile processing support practices

Experience using hospital-grade disinfectants, microfiber cleaning systems, and standard EVS equipment

Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision

Ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Must be available to work every weekend

MUST BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE PREEMPLOYMENT SCREENING SUCH AS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, HEALTH SCREENINGS AND DRUG SCREEN.
