Pallet Repair/Recycling Laborer

PalletOne of Maine, Livermore Falls’ largest employer, is looking to increase and improve their team by adding more PALLET REPAIR/ RECYCLING LABORERS!

The hourly wage is $12.00 per hour working 47.5 hours per week. You will receive overtime (time and a half) after working 40 hours! Full-time, 1st shift (7am-5pm).

Job Duties:

Sorting inbound pallets by number of defects.

Dismantling of pallets beyond repair for parts.

Repair of pallets with defects such as broken boards and stringers, to return them to a usable condition.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

Ability to constantly stand and walk for long periods of time.

Ability to twist, bend, and lift.

Ability to lift pallets in weight of 75 lbs. to 100 lbs. on a continual basis.

Ability to use repair tools such as powered equipment (pallet tipper, bandsaw, circular saw, chop saw) and hand tools such as pneumatic air gun, pry bar, and hammer continuously.

Must be able to comply with all safety rules and procedures.

Must be able to perform basic math and maintain tally of pallets repaired to report at the end of every shift.

Working conditions mainly indoor. Loud, dusty, industrial conditions. Exposure to both heat and cold temperatures.
