Full-Time Daycare Assistant – Immediate Start

We are seeking a reliable, warm, and hardworking full-time Daycare Assistant to join our small, home-based childcare program in San Anselmo. This role is steady, hands-on work supporting infants and toddlers in a calm, structured environment.

Schedule

Monday–Friday

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Full-time, year-round

Start date: Immediately

Compensation & Benefits

Starting at $21/hour

Our previous assistant earned approximately $4,000/month

6 weeks of paid vacation per year (after 6 months of employment)

Responsibilities

Supporting daily routines (feeding, diapering, supervision, cleaning)

Helping maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment

Assisting with simple educational and developmental activities

Communicating professionally with staff and families

Following licensing and health/safety guidelines

Requirements

Must be dependable and punctual

Must enjoy working with young children

Ability to lift, bend, stand, and remain active throughout the day

Experience in childcare is preferred but not required

Willingness to learn and follow established routines
