Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Professional Surveyor and Mapper to oversee and manage a variety of projects in the South and Central Florida areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying (both field and office), excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage large scale projects; field crews and office staff efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Perform additional field duties or assist with utility locating as assigned.

Coordinate daily scheduling of field survey crews and office support staff.

Serve as the primary liaison between survey managers, project managers, clients, and field crews.

Review work orders, proposals, and project requirements to ensure successful outcomes.

Track project timelines and ensure timely delivery of survey services.

Perform field and office calculations.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the course of survey operations.

Assist with drafting task orders and organizing project files.

Certify surveys as required.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of survey terminology, processes, and documentation.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Trimble Business Center.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, field staff, and internal teams.

Ability to read and interpret utility maps, plans, and field markings.

Physically able to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range: Salary commensurate on experience

Requirements

Current Florida Surveyor and Mappers License

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper

Must be Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel to job sites.

High school diploma or GED required.

Fluent in English.
