Mitigation/Restoration/Remediation Technician (Reseda)

We're a 24/7 Restoration company, located in Reseda, CA, seeking a Restoration Tech. The Technician will be primarily assigned for fieldwork applicable to water damage, mold remediation, sewage mitigation, fire/smoke damage and possibly other damages types as well.

Preferences:

- 6 months of experience preferred but not required; we will train if there is drive and dedication!

- Possess & safely use BASIC Hand Tools; Hammer, bry bar, screwdrivers, etc.

- Non-steel toe work boots

- Must have a valid California driver's license (REQUIRED)

- Must have reliable transportation (REQUIRED)

- Must be flexible with scheduling (REQUIRED)

- Ability to communicate effectively (REQUIRED)

- IICRC Cert (preferred but not required)

- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

- ON-CALL when applicable for rotation schedule for weekdays and weekends

- Containment installation, mobilization and demobilization

- Water Extractions, light and heavy demolition, debris removal, industrial Cleanings

- Heavy lifting and/or Content Manipulation; must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted

- Setting up/Takedown, monitoring, maneuver and/or decontaminating equipment

- Ability to operate power tools

- Perform labor-intensive work in dirty environments as per the need of each damage

- Providing updates to your direct supervisor and management, DAILY

- Read and understand basic instructions, follow scope of work, safety rules and compliances

- Attentive to time management to meet project deadlines

- Driving company vehicles as needed
