Duration: 12 Month Company Background: Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for an Engineer - BS Degree to be part of its team in its North American operations. Job Duties:
  • CAD Design: 3D part shape development for assigned parts using CATIA V5.
  • Design Review: Facilitate Design Reviews with team member, team leader, and manager. Attend and support TTC, TMC, PE, or Supplier Design Reviews pertaining to assigned parts.
  • Meetings: Attend and support TTC, TMC, PE, or Supplier Meetings to discuss design, tooling, or quality issues pertaining to assigned parts.
  • Communication: Discuss, inquire, and correspond with TTC, TMC, PE, or Supplier to resolve design, tooling, or quality issues via email, e-chat, phone, virtual meetings, or in-person meetings.
  • Drawings: Create drawings including study sections, package planning drawings, performance planning drawings, and installation drawings pertaining to assigned parts.
  • Production Release: Prepare and issue prototype or production drawing or RDDP including supporting engineering evidences.

Job Requirement –
  • Bachelors in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in CATIA V5
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive parts design
  • Engine Compartment Parts experience
  • Engine Cooling and air intake design knowledge
  • Auto body Design experience
  • Team player with a Positive attitude
