Site Civil Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Civil Superintendent to oversee and manage heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee site and civil construction projects from initiation to completion.

Develop and implement project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are met.

Lead and support field crews, providing direction and performance feedback.

Enforce safety regulations and site compliance in accordance with company and state standards.

Monitor progress, adjust schedules, and ensure milestones are met.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.

Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and documentation for stakeholders.

Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality performance and timely completion of assigned work.

Oversee material procurement, equipment scheduling, and field labor coordination.

Generate and track RFIs, submittals, and 3-week look-ahead schedules.

Participate in preconstruction planning and site meetings with teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent, Civil Supervisor, or similar role in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of project management principles and field operations.

Proficiency in construction management software (ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid, etc.).

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Familiarity with estimating and cost control techniques.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid NYS driver’s license and insurable driving record required.

Work Schedule

8–10 hour shifts

Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)

On-site role requiring travel to various project locations
