Position Summary:

Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close, within the Fargo/Moorhead area and surrounding areas. Chartered with selling the many IT services and programs that Loffler’s IT Solutions Group (ITSG) offers. This includes solutions related to virtualization, data storage, Managed Services, Cloud Services, hardware & software products, voice solutions, consulting services and related networking technologies. Works with the sales, delivery and support teams to achieve revenue goals, customer satisfaction and establish long-term account relationships in line with Loffler Companies vision and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.

- Demonstrates technical selling skills and solution knowledge in the areas listed above.

- Develops annual account plan in conjunction with Sales Manager, which details activities to follow during the year which will focus on meeting or exceeding sales quota.

- Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.

- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.

- Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone, direct mail, email, and networking.

- Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.

- Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and the Loffler ITSG solutions to their problems.

- Utilize company-provided tools to maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, opportunities, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory.

- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

- Utilize CRM tools to look-up, enter and manage critical account information.

- Attend team meetings

- Have a willingness to learn and a great attitude.

- Study the business, the industry, and the product.

- Be willing to teach and be a contributing member to the team.

- Read, study, and know the sales development tools provided. Use the techniques in every call.

- Utilize Loffler’s CRM tool.

- Ability to use Microsoft suite (excel; power point; word; outlook).

- Follow departmental procedures.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Plans and schedules work activities to complete assignments in their order of priority and make the most effective use of time.

- Contributes to a favorable working climate through a friendly manner and cooperative attitude in dealings with other employees.

Education/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.

- 3+ years of industry sales experience.

- Ability to understand customer business requirements and recommend technology solutions.

- Desire to make money and consistently succeed in sales.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Strong team player.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
