Full Time CPA Position Open

Small, growing, and aggressive, tax and accounting firm located near downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan is looking for a seasoned CPA to fill a full-time tax position. Candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate skills in tax planning and strategic ideas, tax research, analytic abilities and tax preparation. Thus, the ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of seasoned tax experience as responsibilities will include preparation of tax returns for businesses, trusts, estates and individuals, client contact and development, review of tax returns, analysis and preparation of financial statements, supervision and training of staff and other tax/accounting matters such as researching tax issues, compilation and review assistance, tax planning of closely held businesses, representation of clients before IRS, etc. We offer health insurance, 401-k matches, vacation time, personal and sick days and holidays off.

Ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

CPA license in Michigan

Masters in Tax - a real plus!

High level Management potential

High level of tax proficiency

Personable

Self Starter and Hard Worker

Familiarity with Compilation and Review Procedures

Excellent verbal communication skills

Familiarity with QuickBooks

Be able to work in a team environment in a small firm – most important!

Compensation commensurate with experience, bonuses
