Description Combine your comprehension of software and applications programming and industry requirements with your experience formulating and defining systems scope and objectives in this Programmer Analyst position from Robert Half Technology. You would provide guidance on developing or altering applications or databases, employing research and fact-finding techniques. This is a long-term temporary-to-full-time Programmer Analyst role based in Flint, Michigan. Apply today.Responsibilities- Helps create communication content for certain system changes being implemented in production- Acts as the in-house guide on applications, systems and/or processes to internal clients in identifying and resolving, processing/reporting programming problems. Consultation can take the form of troubleshooting and/or education- Analyzes and records issues, collaborating with other programmers to fix code problems- Analyzes processing procedures. Develops recommendations for improvements- Provides continuing support for end users and other partner groups through continuing training and assistance for a specific application, system or process- Build and evaluate programming changes prior to implementation for each systems development phase. Record test cases and expected outcomes. Ensure that requirements are met. May create simple tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May suggest acceptance/rejection in cases where not all requirements are met- Assembles and maintains dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst- Analyzes user requests for changes or improvements to systems. Creates documents of functional requirements and reviews cost, feasibility and utility. Suggests how, when and whether to proceed with the changes Requirements - Versatile project planning abilities that include project costing techniques- Previous experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements- Expertise in .NET Framework- .NET experience- C# experience- Experience with JavaScript- HTML experience- Command of PC and mainframe hardware/software- Proficiency in programming languages- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
