Registered Dental Hygienist Duties
Perform dental hygiene services, mouth screenings and check oral health history, dental prophylaxis remove plaque, scaling and root planning
Identify conditions such as gingivitis, dental carries and periodontal disease
Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and good brushing techniques
Maintain patient documents and charts
Take X-rays and assist dentist with appropriate treatment for various diseases
Follow OSHA and HIPPA guidelines
Qualifications for Registered Dental Hygienist
Graduated from an accredited College of Dental Hygiene
Registered Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice
1 year of dental experience
Excellent computer and interpersonal skills
