Summary: This company is seeking a non-IT Project Manager to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities:SCRUM MASTERThe Scrum Master will coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality, facilitates scrum meetings/demos, remove impediments to the team's progress, and understand and manage the team's capacity, to ensure team execution and timely delivery of committed work.In addition, the Scrum Master will support activities of the Product Owners and will collaborate with other members of the organization to further their understanding and adoption of agile practices and the Scrum Framework. The Scrum Master will collaborate with project managers and help bring increasing transparency.

REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must possess an in-depth knowledge of the principles of Agile Scrum, and the software development lifecycle through hands on experience.
  • Experience in Agile Scrum required with 5+ years' experience.
  • Possess excellent conflict resolution, coaching, communication, mentoring, and servant leadership skills.
  • Experience working with Product Owners and stakeholders to validate or write user stories to ensure they meet definition of ready.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to influence others and build trust at all levels.
  • Ability to work with team members to size stories, plan and forecast through the use of proper estimating techniques.
  • Proficiency in JIRA/Dev Ops.

EDUCATION :MUST HAVE - Bachelors/Masters in to Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering. location: Concord, Californiajob type: Contractsalary: $37 - 47 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:
  • Serve as scrum master for multiple scrum teams and coach them to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
  • Facilitate scrum meetings including daily standup, sprint planning, sprint review/demo, grooming and retrospectives.
  • Create visibility into the progress of each sprint through use of velocity, burn down charts, committed vs. completed metrics, etc. Maintain this data over time to show team progression over time.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement opportunities that focus on inspiring teams to be self-organized and high-performing.
  • Facilitate the removal of impediments and guide the team on early identification of impediments and both internal and external dependencies to increase successful sprint completion.
  • Foster a great working relationships with your team, stakeholders.
  • Manage special projects as requested by management.
