Job Overview:The developer will perform as part of an application migration project team who will be migrating complex Adobe Flex applications to Apache Royale.

Responsibilities:Install and configure Adobe Flex/Apache Royale development toolsLead developer for the project team - will guide the migration process and mentor other project members to become proficient in Flex and RoyaleEmploy strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.Help analyze the legacy code base and guide the migration process based on the API reportsUtilize analytical, process, and/or technical skills to meet project objectives and deliverables that are self-directed and within project scope.

Qualifications:Experience in Adobe/Apache Flex applications is mandatoryAction ScriptMXMLWindows Browser runtimeExperience in Apache Royale applications is mandatoryExperience with Adobe/Apache Flex application migration to Apache Royale is strongly preferredStrong technical team leadership and written and verbal communication skillsHands-on developer, to do Proof of Concepts and building framework code as needed.Experience with Moonshine IDE preferred but not mandatoryExperience with SOAP web service interfaces and E4X is preferred but not mandatoryExperience with Maven Build processing is mandatoryExperience with CVS code repository is preferred but not mandatory but experience with an equivalent code repository is mandatoryExperience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes.Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.

Preferred Skills and Education:Experience working with a distributed team.Experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
