Senior Project Manager/IT Cyber Security contractor

to provide support to a federal government client in Aiken, SC.

Requirements:The Contractor will support the Plutonium (Pu) Sustainment Program and National Nuclear Security Association (NNSA) Capital Projects mission. The primary focus of these support efforts will be to assist in the development, preparation and operation of the Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security processes associated with the Pu Sustainment Program and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Capital Projects.The contractor will provide expertise and ensure inclusion of all IT systems (classified and unclassified) related to communications, work processes, business processes, product and material tracking, product quality, and information management are planned for and executed in the design phase for NNSA Capital Projects. Other duties include:
  • Development of appropriate strategies and plans to achieve the scope.
  • Conduct strategic planning efforts based on requirements from NNSA, Cybersecurity, Nuclear Enterprise Assurance, and Counterintelligence requirements.
  • Engage stakeholders and solicit input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the strategic planning efforts.
  • Develop and clarify divisionof responsibilities between IT and OT organizations.
  • Identify the necessary CIO organization and it's elements and set up of the appropriate staffing levels with SMEs from the nuclear security enterprise and relevant industries.
  • Define scope of technical programs and development of an effective and efficient solution to challenges which involve unique or controversial problems.
  • Provide network integration leadership and software project management support.

Qualifications:
  • Must have experience in executive level positions for military and/or government work
  • Experience utilizing project management tools such as

    Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, and earned value management systems (EVMS)
  • Experience performing project management activities such as cost estimating, resource planning, and providing reports
  • Experience in scalable architecture and consolidated IT business processes
  • Experience in coordinating IC systems
  • Experience in interacting with federal state and local regulatory personnel
  • Must have teamwork and presentation skills for a project environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to obtain a DOE "Q" Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems (or equivalent major) and 10 years of IT-related positions OR combination of education and experience
