- Managing task status updates through Jira
- Designing technical solutions to meet client requirements
- Managing software development in git, including linking features to Jira tasks
- Engaging in regular code reviews as tasks are completed and integrated into development branch
- Where possible providing test code and focus on ensuring a high level of code quality
- Ensuring any issues are communicated to ensure that risks to project milestones are managed
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Proficiency in Python and pyqt (or similar GUI frameworks)
- Proficiency in SQL and postgres and integration with python
- Proficient in using source control, specifically Git
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organized, self motivated and able to meet deadlines
- Software development process is followed, and where possible improved upon
- Good communication of work status, including early identification of potential issues/risks
- Code is of a high level of quality and meets all requirements
- Reviews are resolved within a reasonable time frame incorporating all feedback or where appropriate providing adequate explanation as to why it's not applicable
