Job Description

As a Senior Supply Chain Officer you are responsible to co-ordinate the activities of the Inventory/Logistics function to ensure effective Inventory/Logistics Management according to organisational objectives and client needs.

You will also ensure:

  • Compliance with Company Policies & Procedures
  • Meeting deadlines and accurate outputs
  • Adherence to SHE & Security programme goals and objectives
  • Adherence to Security and Health programme goals and objectives
  • Adherence to the Company's Environmental Management programme and objectives are implemented
  • Manages subordinates' Key Result Areas by setting and monitoring performance standards
  • Manage inventory according to Operational requirements
  • Incorporate an all-inclusive Warehouse Management Program
  • Report, analyze, review and present information to both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Education required:

  • Grade 12/Std 10/N3 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification
  • Diploma/Degree/BTech in Supply Chain or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Knowledge & Experience required

:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the Supply Chain environment (relevant Mining industry experience advantageous)
  • At least 2 years’ working knowledge of SAP
  • At least 2 years’ experience at a supervisory level
  • Valid Code 08/EB Driver’s License
