Manufacturing Production Technician Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for proper set up of the production line according to correct specifications

Running and maintaining the production equipment

Work safely in a fast-paced environment

Troubleshoot and fix equipment as needed

Maintaining safety standards

Ensure production line is staffed as needed

Complete production paperwork on a daily basis

Conducting an accurate count of finished and dry goods, including items disposed of during production

Monitor all inventory

Adhere to cleaning requirements and maintenance schedule

Training new employees and temporary staff

Meet and production goals

Maintain quality control standards and report any issues to supervisor

Requirements

Adhere to safety standards and policies

Strong mechanical skills and aptitude

Experience with repairing and maintaining equipment

Be flexible with day to day activities

Have a flexible schedule that on rare occasions may include a weekend day or evening hours

Be able to lift 20 to 30 lbs. regularly and on occasion up to 50 lbs.

A passion for the spirits industry

Previous experience in a supervisor role

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Qualifications or Skills

Previous experience as a supervisor in a production environment

Technical understanding of the packaging process

Forklift certification

The ability to stand for 8 hours each day

Capable of lifting 20 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Ability to work independently
