Sr. Financial Analyst with Dynamics NAV exp. - Chicago, IL - $110kA manufacturing end user is looking for a Financial Analyst with a strong technical background to play a key role in gathering data and improving reporting methods.An ideal candidate will have come from a manufacturing, warehousing, or consumer goods background, and have experience utilizing SQL, Tableau, and/or Power Bi along with Navision systems in leveraging data to support a growing company.Job Description- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyze financial data and create financial forecasts for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Work closely with both the IT Director and CFO on data extraction and reporting
- Act as an intermediary between the ERP technical team and various business units on NAV functionality
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Skills & Qualifications- 2+ years of experience with Dynamics NAV
- Understanding of SQL, Power BI, and/or Tableau
- Advanced knowledge of finance, inventory and production processes
- Prior background in a senior accounting or business analyst role a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Great communication skills
