Accounts Receivable Clerk

DescriptionIf you are good at entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, this role might be right for you. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role will be based in the Tampa, Florida region and is a full-time employment opportunity.How you will make an impactWork with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed

Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

Post and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accounts

Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced

Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

Ensure accuracy of documents and codes

Provide information as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders

RequirementsDetailed and have the ability work independently

Efficient in ERP systems

3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
