Python Developer Summary:Signature Consultants is seeking a Python Developer for an opportunity with a client in Hoboken, NJ.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for contributing to all phases of the SDLC including analysis, design, development, unit test, QA, and UAT
  • Assist in the developing and supporting of a Regulatory Transaction Reporting application across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes for OTC Derivatives and FX products

Required Skills:
  • 3-5 year of Object Oriented Programming experience
  • 2 years of minimum experience in python programming language (not as scripts)
  • Designing and developing user interfaces using AngularJS best practices
  • Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
  • Agile development life-cycle experience
  • Writing JavaScript, CSS, HTML and bootstrapping
  • Developing application codes and unit tests in AngularJS, Java Technologies, and Rest Web Services

Desired Skills:
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications
  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Work closely with lead developers to implement Python application architectures and designs
  • Maintain existing applications to support operations
  • Produce documents including design documents, and class diagrams.
  • Perform testing with technical peers and functional end users to ensure successful launch of development projects
