CGI: An employer of choicePosition Description Under the direction of the Business Operations Manager, the Business Operations Analyst has the responsibility of establishing and managing processes for the development of various computerized tracking systems that apply to the Assisted Housing (HUD) domain. Specific tasks include editing, testing, validating, loading and releasing reports and workflows that are generated by the respective systems. To accomplish these tasks in an effective and timely manner, the incumbent will collaborate with assigned team members and gather the necessary data. In addition, the Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for establishing user IDs and setting access levels consistent with CGI operating policies and guidelines.Your future duties and responsibilities •Performs second level support for all internal systems. Responds to telephone calls and e-mail messages from users looking for system assistance. •Provides and maintains approved system access to active users. •Collects and keeps a record system changes and enhancements. •Prepare specifications, flow charts, workflows and process diagrams for computer programmers to follow. •Runs tests, diagnoses system problems, recommends solutions, and determines whether program requirements are being met, Works with computer programmers to debug, or eliminate errors from the system. •Analyzes data, designs and develops reports and queries. •Builds and maintains strong relationships with Operations and Finance teams through excellent customer service, clear and concise communication and high level responsiveness. •Builds and maintains a strong understanding of the PBCA program requirements and user needs. Communicates effectively across other HUD/PBCA teams to fully understand best practices and implement systems enhancements to create efficiencies. •Work together with the project team to meet 100% of the required deadlines and avoid contractual penalties. •Perform other duties as assigned.Required qualifications to be successful in this role Undergraduate degree in management information systems, computer or information science is required. Significant relevant experience will be considered. Three (3) years of experience with system administration, query writing and report development. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with assisted housing programs preferred.
