Housekeeping/Public Attendant Needed in Alaska (Dutch Harbor, Alaska)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Clean public restrooms, including sweep, mop, disinfect, wash all mirrors, walls, ash urns, toilets, urinals; restock supplies and empty trash.

Clean lobbies, offices, retail and public areas to include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash and ashtrays, washing windows inside and out.

Sweep/wash exterior hotel walks and decks, pick up grounds, empty trash.

Clean employee area, locker rooms, basement hall and all stairwells.

Clean carpets and hard floors to include mopping, waxing, buffing, shampooing.

Clean meeting rooms to include vacuuming, shampooing, dusting and participating in set-up and breakdown of furnishings.

Clean restaurants and lounges to include vacuuming, shampooing, dusting, disinfecting and participating in set-up and break-down of furnishings.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

Clean guest rooms as assigned.

Drive Shuttle as requested and necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

6 months to 1 year housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.

Must be able to stand for long periods with frequent bending and lifting.

Good communication skills.

Must have valid driver's license.
