Assistant Warehouse Worker

The Fess Parker Winery and Vineyard is now hiring for an Assistant Warehouse Worker. This position will report to the Santa Maria warehouse facility. The Ideal candidate must be organized and able to communicate clearly with office staff and other warehouse personnel. Applicant must be flexible based on varying requirements on a day to day basis and to work quickly and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Candidate must be able to lift 50lbs, as well as operate a forklift.

Able to load and unload multi pallets of wine and supplies on/off delivery trucks

Clear communication with warehouse manager throughout the day

Assist shipping department to package and ship wine orders daily.

Ensure product is arranged carefully and no breakage occurs during transportation

May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and work stations neat.

Schedule is 40 hours a week Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

High School diploma or G.E.D

Team player

Dependable and reliable

Experience operating forklift or similar order picker

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch

Skilled in reading, writing, understanding English

Valid driver’s license (Class A driver’s license a plus)

Willing to submit to random drug and alcohol testing as requested by management

A command of basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)

Uses time efficiently by being productive at all hours of the day

This full-time position is for immediate hire. We offer a full benefit package, after 60-day introduction period, including; medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, with an owner contribution. PTO and paid company holidays.
