One80 Salon is a high end, award winning hair salon in downtown Washington DC. We specialize in hair cutting and hair coloring services. We provide a unique and unaffected salon experience, one in which talent and design come together to achieve the vision of each individual client. With our departmentalized business model, our hair colorists only offer coloring services and our hair stylists only offer hair cutting and styling services.

As a color apprentice, you will be working under four renowned colorists. This position is for someone with a true passion for hair color. Being that we are highly booked, we want someone that is always on time and is willing to put their career first. The successful candidate will be professional, energetic, reliable and focused. We want someone that truly wants to grow into a successful hair colorist. The knowledge you will obtain in this position can be very valuable to someone looking to begin a blooming career in this industry. WE WILL TRAIN YOU!

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Assisting a team of hair colorists and hair stylists

Shampooing and applying hair color/glazes

Serving clients needs throughout their visit to the salon

Checking in products and color orders as they arrive

Maintaining a clean and tidy work area throughout the salon
