You will be an advocate for Lumen's culture & values, working alongside the business to support their strategic initiatives with a focus on the people. As a solutions partner, you will be assigned to work through initiatives where you are expected to act as a thought leader on people and organizational topics. This will require you to think big and be comfortable challenging convention, reinventing how work is done. In addition, you're able to work in ambiguous situations and you love building things from scratch. In this role, you will demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, pay careful attention to detail, stay organized, and prioritize effectively. You will partner across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. Using an agile mindset, this role will lead the HR solutions project teams to support strategic initiatives across the global Lumen workforce. It is critical that this person has a balance of speed and accuracy in their decision making when developing innovative solutions to help drive results. The Main ResponsibilitiesOffer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution

Through leadership courage and business acumen, build trust and credibility to influence both business and leadership decisions.

Facilitate conversations to correctly scope business concerns the solutions team will work to solve.

Leverage analytics to inform decision making and provide business recommendations to leaders

Understand and interpret business needs to draw on COE and cross-functional resources to implement business solutions.

Responsible to design & recommend solutions that will address chronic business problems

Lead 1-2 HR solutions projects

Lead implementation of employee engagement and employee experience strategies.

Leverage HR systems and technology capabilities to maximize efficiency and customer experience.

Continuously reinforce the One Company One Culture approach

Education & ExperienceExperience requirements include 10+ years in the HR field with a Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent.

6+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in HR or Equivalent

Experience in the following: organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture work, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, & employee relations.

Prior experience in agile or lean working environment

Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing environment

Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and also being part of deeply complex strategy discussions

Demonstrated ability to work within constraints as well as to challenge the status quo.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.

Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with leaders and stakeholders to drive organizational change.
