Accountant - Entry Level

For this short-term temporary-to-full-time position, you should be willing to work in Clarkston, Michigan.Your responsibilitiesPreparing monthly journal entries

Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned

Researching and rectifying account discrepancies

Perform data entry

Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts

Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audit

Aiding in full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

RequirementsExcellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

Preferred education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

Be detailed, flexible, and organized

Outstanding data entry skills

Accounting Entries experience

Accounting Principles experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Required: 1 year of accounting experience

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
