Business Finance Accounts ReceivableDo you have experience in accounting and want to work for a company that positively impacts the lives of the many individuals it serves? In the Business Finance Accounts Receivable Analyst role, you will contribute to the company’s commitment to serve others by providing Accounts Receivable support and analysis for the state office and by acting as a liaison between state operations and the Finance Shared Services Center.Process Roll-Up of services and reconcile units/charges against reports received from Clinical Operations for reasonableness

Generate, distribute, and review revenue/billing reports per Task Activity Breakdown (TAB) schedule

Assist with the training of the field staff responsible for the generation of revenue information

Ensure checks are deposited in a timely manner according to local procedures, create RFPs as needed, fax/scan Remittance Advices to SSC, maintain Non-AR funds in state office for posting in Oracle, and apply Oracle AR and non-AR cash, as appropriate

Perform weekly/monthly reconciliation functions to ensure timely/accurate billing and cash applications by SSC

Perform weekly review and analysis of outstanding receivables to assist SSC in resolution

Establish and maintain productive relationships with key resources and external payers

Complete month-end close duties, including AR system processes, reconciliations, schedules, and journal entries

Assist with quarterly/annual audits and cost reports

Work with each accounting manager and SSC to achieve collection and DSO goals, oversee monthly AR reporting requirements, and provide feedback to Business Manager and State Director regarding the impact of program-related activities

Maintain an effective control environment for the accounting operations

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an AR/General Ledger related field, preferably in health services

Proficiency in accounting; intermediate to advanced computer skills and applications preferred

Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate banking services

Skillful data analysis, critical thinking, and strong financial acumen

Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task

Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills
