job summary:As the DLP Lead Engineer you will act as a subject matter expert on DLP and related technologies. You should be experienced in designing and developing application code, implementing technical solutions, and configuring applications in different environments in response to business problems. You should not only be ready to roll-sleeves and perform hands-on technical activities, but also provide direction for design and architecture of the application or its components, investigate and propose appropriate technologies to be used, creates re-usable frameworks and drives standardization where possible. location: FALLS CHURCH, Virginiajob type: Permanentsalary: $145,000 - 155,000 per yearwork hours: 9am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:

  • Act as Level 3 Technical Lead for L1 & support, with ability to perform hands-on engineering work; direct relationship with operational teams and vendor to ensure product issues are addressed
  • Knowledge of test suite and DLP testing to support new releases and updates
  • Management of DLP related regulatory and audit issues; ability to work with business divisions and functions to anticipate data leakage threats and provide consultancy on effective data leakage prevention strategies
  • Working with stakeholders supporting the global DLP infrastructure (network and endpoint)
  • Communicate with internal and external resources to ensure capability meets technical roadmap, strategy and compliance
  • Ensure on-going preparation of documentation/key operating procedures and perform QA

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Technical hands-on experience with data loss prevention engineering/operations
  • In-depth experience of industry leading DLP technology, Cloud DLP solutions including architecture, rules and governance
  • Knowledge and experience in either implementing or integrating with network infrastructure (Web Proxies, Firewalls, Matrix Switches, etc), network security protocols and encryption (TLS/HTTPS/SSL, etc)
  • Basic coding or scripting knowledge - OOP preferable (at least one including PowerShell, VBS, C#, Java, Python etc.)
  • Continuous configuration/tuning of DLP systems and perform technical configuration reviews and the ability to create technical documentation in English with diagram experience (Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
