Position Overview:The EDI/Information Analyst investigates and resolves day-to-day trading partners’ production issues. Manages trading partner relationships as they relate to electronic transactions; coordinates EDI (electronic data interchange) testing and trading partner implementation initiatives; sets up and maintains trading partner profiles and transaction mappings; understands and maintains current knowledge of EDI standards and ensures that American Licorice Company conforms to electronic trading standards for the industry. The EDI/Information Analyst also coordinates the company’s quality, security, and maintenance of product data. Helps define data elements and adheres to established policies and procedures related to the collection and accuracy of data. Responsible for product information management as it relates to GDSN. Works with the brand cross functional teams (CFT) to ensure quality and accuracy of item information. Performs other duties as directed to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all associates.
  • Manage and resolve day to day production issues within organization and with Trading Partners.
  • Coordinate EDI testing and implementation.
  • Create maps for new transactions and maintain existing maps.
  • Understand and maintain current knowledge of EDI standards.
  • Maintain and resolve issues regarding AS2 communications.
  • Understand ERP systems and the relationship of product data to EDI.
  • Understand ERP/JDE inbound/outbound EDI tables.
  • Serve as ALC’s GDSN expert.
  • Create and maintain items in 1Worldsync.
  • Manage customer subscriptions and item publications.
  • Work with departments to collect and maintain product attribute data.
  • Manage and resolve day to day product data issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams related to product development.
  • Inform and advise with regards to GTIN Allocation rules and packaging changes.
Responsible for Food Safety as related to position.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Three plus years EDI experience; manufacturing, supply chain and/or logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience with BizManager EDI suite from OpenText preferred.
  • 1WorldSync or other GDSN Data Pool experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Product information management experience a plus.
  • MSSQL or T-SQL programming skills a plus.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills
  • Good PC skills and understanding of networked systems
