PT Child Care Assistant ASAP!

In need of a PART TIME CHILD CARE ASSISTANT from Monday to Friday; looking for candidates who have a passion for teaching and enjoy working with children aged newborn to 5 years.

Responsibility:

Create a fun, productive, and safe learning environment for children.

Requirements:

Prefer 2+ years of previous child care experience

Must have own transportation

Great communication skills

Ability to lift minimum 35 lbs

Typical Duties:

-Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy

-Instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.

-Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games.

-Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.

-Sanitize toys and play equipment.

-Observe and monitor children's play activities.

-Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.

-Discipline children and recommend or initiate other measures to control behavior, such as caring for own clothing and picking up toys and books.

-Dress children and change diapers.

-Keep all appropriate records such as, attendance and time sheets.

-Maintain confidentiality.
