Job Description

The Sales Professional is responsible for selling uniform rental service to new customers within an assigned geographic territory. The Sales Professionalis accountable to the Sales Manager and will work with the customer service team and the route service team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Make daily cold calls to prospects in assigned territory.
  • Secure appointments with prospects.
  • Make face to face presentations.
  • Prepare written proposals & contracts.
  • Negotiate service and secure signed contracts.
  • Maintain and add to database of prospects.
  • Attend a weekly sales meetingat Gallagher in Battle Creek, MI for training, planning and phone block.
  • Responsibly transfer new customer information to the customer service team.
  • Participate in the installation of new accounts as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proven success cold-selling B2B services.
  • Outgoing, engaging, sales-motivated, hunter personality.
  • Willing and able to travel daily within assigned territory.
  • Organized with strong communication skills.
  • Computer-literate and capable in MS Office and internet/email.
  • Self starter with ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Past experience with the Sandler Selling System is a plus.
  • Non-Tobacco user.
