Salesforce Marketing Cloud EngineerThe Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer acts as the primary technologist for the marketing cloud platform. They will regularly collaborate with internal stakeholders. They are deeply technically savvy and their primary job is focusing on the architectural and technology needs to grow the business over the longer-term horizon.Primary/Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in solution design, documentation and delivery efforts by leveraging SFDC, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other toolsets
  • Collaborate with various team members and stakeholders to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs and understand and create key marketing campaigns and solutions
  • Share best practices with key team members throughout the duration of the project and act as a trusted partner
  • Assist in mapping and loading data into Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Assist in defining required features and mapping Marketing Cloud features to the stakeholder business processes
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in SFMC technology including SSJS, HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SQL
  • Hands-on development for dynamic content projects related to email
  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and scripting language to deliver highly dynamic and personalized content
  • Create and maintain system-related documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, data maps, configuration worksheets, etc.
  • Train stakeholders on Salesforce Marketing Cloud in relation to their business processes and best practices
  • Remains flexible and responsive to changing priorities and multiple, concurrent responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Information Technology or related field
  • Acceptable Experience considered in lieu of education requirement: 2 years' experience for every year of formal education required
  • Years of experience: 2+
  • Prior experience working with a delivery team to understand and create key marketing campaigns and solutions
  • Proven experience executing and developing relational data through Data Extensions and the ability to map and load data into Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Proven experience in the creation and maintenance of system-related documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, data maps, configuration worksheets, etc.
  • Proven Experience with partner applications from the AppExchange
  • Proven experience in Marketing Automation Engineering including developing campaign management engineering capabilities like data processing, privacy, targeting, eligibility, emails, sms channels, landing forms, online tracking, prospect and customer acquisition.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of the following languages: SSJS, HTML, CSS, AMPscript, SQL, and FUEL
  • Experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, MobileStudio, Automation studio
  • Strong experience executing solutions with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and leveraging APIs and ETL tools
  • Proficient in Marketing cloud connector and Integration with service cloud Integration with external systems and knowledge of DMP and data integration is key
  • Active Salesforce certifications are required
  • Assist in mapping and loading data into Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Assist in defining required features and mapping Marketing Cloud features to the stakeholder business processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Agile
  • Experience with education software
