Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Full-Time qualified Database Developer to Develop a large and complex application. The Database Driven Application must be Stable and Reliable and delivered according to our company’s needs. You will be responsible for all aspects of developing, testing, improving and maintaining the database and programmed logic to help Internal and External users retrieve data effectively and efficiently from within an Azure hosting environment. You will also participate in architecture definition, design, implementation and support.As part of our IT team, you will work closely with Architects and Application Developers to ensure system consistency and operations. You will also collaborate with Customer Points of Contact to provide Technical Support and Migration Assistance, Gather and Identify new requirements, issues and processes to enhance the operations of the application.Communication and organization skills are keys for this development position, along with a Can-Do Problem-Solution attitude.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of development and support of a Database system
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ Preferred
  • Experienced Developer of Stored Procedures and Triggers
  • Proficiency to Create, Update and Delete DB Tables and Schemas
  • Import and Export Data
  • Ability to perform DB Configuration and Tuning
  • Troubleshooting, Logging and DB Diagnostics
  • Azure Experience is a Plus
  • Command of Built-in Functions

  • Windows PowerShell and Batch file programming
  • Experienced in Remote and Local execution

  • Operations in a Microsoft Windows environment

  • Strong problems solving abilities

  • Proven working experience as a Database Developer and/or DBA role

  • Ability to make design decisions when appropriate to develop a working application

  • Ability to work within an environment of dynamic and flexible design

  • Strong Team Player with the Ability to challenge an approach with facts

  • Capability to Coach and Mentor others on the team

  • Familiarity with other programming languages (C# a plus)

  • Familiarity with Web programming languages

  • Able to deliver and work to specific deadlines
