Product/Program Manager 6-12 Months+ Contract Bentonville, AK (REMOTE Till covid)AMERICAN VENDOR / Walmart Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager/Product manager who has experience with Retail Real estate/asset lifecycle management experience. This person will be working with us to help us roadmap the entire lifecycle of our store assets to make sure that they are onboarded on to our IoT platform sooner than later. Right now only 10% of our assets (refrigerators, ovens, rotisserie machines, etc.) are on the smart platform and the eventual goal is to get 100% of our assets on the IoT platform that we have within our real estate division. Remarks: 2 rounds of zoom interview for 1.5 hours eachRemote until Covid and then once Walmart is back on campus then the person has to relocate to Bentonville, AKThis is for a group that is responsible for the Real Estate Facility management for all of Walmart stores in USA and globally. Facility management basically means within real estate - Property management, construction management, facility maintenance and energy, IoT platform. This team's scope is restricted to Walmart stores maintenance of assets which are things like equipment within the stores - refrigerator boxes, ovens, freezer machines, rotisserie machines, etc.This team is tasked with making them smart machines and in the last 2 years they have made some of their assets smart but only 5 to 10% of their assets are on their IoT/smart platform and they want to get 100% of their assets on that smart platform over the next 5 years. These smart assets are connected with the IoT platform to gather temperature data, telemetric data, etc.This program/product owner will have asset lifecycle management system experience – right from onboarding the asset, getting it connected to the smart platform, warranty period, after warranty period care, continue to repair them after their end of life or replace them - those kind of decisions. This person needs to have experience with product road mapping and especially working with Data Science teams and/or Machine Learning models then that is a good to have. Product road map experience also should include experience in financial modelling like ROI, sitting with the business and understanding what the needs are for the next 6 months or a year or whatever time frame the business gives them and then should be able to show models like showing x amount of dollars will give you X,Y and Z over the course of X amount of time, etc. Understanding the IoT and how assets get connected, maintenance and driving the energy efficiency, etc. – that is the key. Education background would be – electrical or mechanical engineering. Good to have:Product owners would be responsible for the end to end lifecycle of these assets from the IT side and on the business side. Experience on computerized maintenance systems – CMMS/E-maintain/Maximo/similar is a huge bonus. Someone with Experience in product management with a focus on facility asset management and energy – someone that has worked in a similar company like Walmart (Target, Krogers, Costco, Whole Foods, etc.) and not in an oil and gas industry because their experience would be more on the refinery extraction, etc. vs. retail store asset/facility management experience
