Trophy Cupcakes and Party is seeking Extra-Ordinary Social Media Coordinator. We are looking for someone who would like to be a part of a creative locally owned business that's SERIOUS about Baking LOVE & delivering HAPPINESS.

While we are experiencing a challenging time globally, this has sadly meant most independent bakeries have been forced to close. Trophy fans are the truest of them all, and we’re keeping our doors open by doubling down on our Mission to spread sweetness and delivery happiness. That’s where you come in!

You will be responsible for:

- Coordinating and maintaining an already strong online presence for our company

- Implementing online marketing strategies through our various social media accounts by creating engaging text, image and video content (accounts/platforms include: Instagram, Facebook, MailChimp, Twitter, Google Local Listings, Tik Tok, Pinterest)

- Designing and managing delivery of newsletters.

- Researching audience preferences and discovering current trends

- Developing original content and proposing creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand

- Designing posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products

- Increasing web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies

- Monitoring web traffic and conversions

- Staying up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

- Training Team Trophy to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way to our brand

- Responding to customer reviews on Google, Yelp, Square, etc.

- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to questions and DM’s

- Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans to executive team

- Develop a daily optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

- Propose new ideas to attract prospective customers, influencers and partners

You will need:

- At least one year experience in a similar position as a social media coordinator

- Expertise in multiple social media platforms

-In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics

- Working knowledge of and experience with MailChimp

-Ability to deliver creative, on brand content (text, image and video)

-Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels

-Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively

-Excellent communication skills

-Multitasking and analytical skills

-A flexible schedule to post daily, respond on posts and pivot quickly when marketing opportunities arise

- This is a part time position at 20 hours per week, but could be full time for the perfect candidate with a demonstrated marketing background.

- Demonstrated commitment to high-standards and an eye for style and fine detail

- A people-friendly, team-oriented, and cheerful disposition- but also very comfortable of working independently

- Ability to multi-task, plan ahead months at a time and stay extremely organized

It would be a maraschino-cherry on top if you also have:

- BS degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field

- Food photography/styling skills (or the ability to manage photo shoots)

- Graphic Design skills
