Research Coordinator I - Health Promotion & Prevention ResearchTexas Medical Center-Houston, TexasHotResearchUTHealth School of Public HealthRequisition #: 200002A1Department: School of Public HealthLocation: Texas Medical Center, Houston, TXPosition Type: Full Time/ Non-ExemptPosition Summary:Under the supervision of the project director, the Research Coordinator I will assist with the administrative tasks required for the smooth running of the assigned project.Position Key Accountabilities:Attend project meetings, take minutes and report out.

Schedules and help prepare meetings and presentations.

Assist with the day to day project management coordination for research projects to include facilities, supplies in support of research project desired outcomes, budgets, and timeliness.

Assist in budget preparation, tracking expenses, obtaining quotes and other budget related items.

Assists with preparation of annual progress reports with various sponsor agencies.

Interacts with outside vendors and coordinates their activities with other UT partners on projects intervention activities.

Responsible for delivering written and verbal communications to staff and faculty; travel planning, reimbursements, gift cards and petty cash incentives for research related activities. Order research and outreach supplies; maintain logs and files accordingly.

Ensures team adheres to policies and procedures required for compliance with University and Federal guidelines.

Other duties as assigned
