ESTABLISHED CONTRACTOR LOOKING FOR PRIME SUBCONTRACTORS

We are a General Contractor based out of Lancaster, Pa who have been in business 20+ years and currently self-perform over 80% of the work we contract. We complete over 70 jobs a year within 20-30 projects.

We are looking for an independent contractor who is well rounded or versed in most of the trades it takes to complete full remodels, additions, kitchens, basements, bathrooms, and any new construction built from the ground up. If you check most of the boxes above, but are not proficient in a couple, no problem, please still contact us. We have subcontractors for excavation, footings, foundations, drywall, and roofs, but will pay you as a 1099 subcontractor to complete everything from general construction tasks, framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing, drywall (as needed), painting, most flooring, trim, fixture installation, doors, windows, decks, and more. Depending on our given timeline for specific jobs, you may only end of completing a few of the trades above instead of all of them. We do hire trade specific subcontractors as needed.

We typically have 2-5 projects going on at a time (in different phases) and we sometimes bounce around, so we are looking for an individual who is willing to be paid by the hour, because its more practical and we do not have the time to have you give us an estimate for every task we ask you to do. You would have to provide your own tools, have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, your PA Home Improvement Contractor’s License, and General Liability Insurance. If you qualify or are a good match for us, but do not have your PA HIC or General Liability, we can help you secure those. It is required to work with us.

We are willing to pay between $25+ an hour depending on your skillset or more. We ask that you are professional, work well with others, are courteous to our customers, respectful of customer’s property, a nice guy, have good communication, and have a cell phone. We manage our projects via software that you will be required to download at no cost. We do not advertise, and ALL of our business is repeat or word-of-mouth, so we do have a high level of professionalism and craftsmanship to uphold. We will delegate jobs to you, explain to you what we are looking for, agree to how it will be completed and you will complete the job in any manner that produces the same result. We will not tell you how to do your job if you complete it in an industry acceptable manner and to the specifications we agree upon.

Every subcontractor currently working with us are great guys who are professionals, down to earth, funny, and respectful of each other. We are looking for someone that fits this profile.

We are extremely flexible with subcontractor’s schedules. As long as you communicate with us, we understand that you may have many things that requires your attention…such as personal care and family that you need some flexibility with. We typically work 35-40 hours a week or more if desired or needed. We sometimes do have some downtime, but not too often. We can pay your invoices weekly if you submit them or we can have our system automatically generate an invoice for you and then pay you. We can work with you if you have your own projects to complete but prefer that you prioritize our projects if we are committing to subcontracting you for work. If you bring projects to our table, we can help you manage them and all expenses, pay you for your time in the field, and then split the profits. We treat this as a strategic alliance.

We are booked on paper well into 2021 and are looking for a good fit to our team of subcontractors.
