Standard Brewing Bartender spot

Standard Brewing is looking for a bartender. We’ve been brewing and serving beer in the Central District for over seven years, and three years ago we opened a Public House, with a kitchen and a liquor license, adjacent to the brewery. We’re happy to be a part of such a great, historic neighborhood.

We are looking for a positive and interactive bartender who is not afraid to work alone or to earn their tips through friendly-but-efficient volume service (line up at the counter, no table service). Ongoing, self-directed learning about beer is vital, and a solid foundation in at least basic cocktail-making, as well as some wine knowledge, are plusses. A Beer Server Certification is a must.

There is some flexibility in terms of what your regular schedule might be but we do like to have full time employees in a fairly consistent groove. There are usually opportunities to pick up/swap. We open at 11 and we close at 11, every day, so you don’t have to be there too early or too late.
