J2 Building Consultants, Inc., a leading construction design and engineering consultant firm in the building envelope and waterproofing industry, is seeking a qualified individual to join our collaborative team and build client relations!

We are seeking a highly motivated, and human-centric Relationship Manager to amplify J2’s Customer Experience! Our Relationship Manager will be the primary point of contact for leads and existing relationships, as well as manage proposals, maintenance renewals, and enhance J2’s overall client satisfaction. The perfect candidate will liaison communications and activities, build relationships with stakeholders, take advantage of networking opportunities, and innovate new ideas to make J2 more profitable.

This position will take place at our Mukilteo, WA office. However, this position will also remotely support our Portland, Oregon and Salt Lake City, Utah offices. We are a fun, fast-paced work environment that is growing quickly and eager for you to join the team!

Job Overview

Act as the face of J2 by promoting the business and maintaining a positive image

Build and nurture relationships with leads, existing clients and key stakeholders through daily business activities as well as marketing or networking events

Collaborate with our Leadership and Marketing Teams to improve profitability by notifying of new sales, lead conversions, competition activities, industry trends and cross-selling opportunities

Promote exceptional customer service, quickly addressing and resolving issues as they arise and involving the Leadership Team when necessary

Produce new proposals and schedule maintenance plans by uncovering client needs

Drive proposal to sale conversion by encouraging clients to sign active proposals and take advantage of renewal opportunities

Organize and maintain client information in CRM database

Qualifications for Relationship Manager

3+ years sales representative / sales account manager experience

Strong interpersonal skills with a history of cultivating business relationships

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment

Exceptionally skilled in written and verbal communications

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Problem solver and strategic thinker with the ability to act quickly

Proficiently understands CRM technology (Dynamics 365 preferred)

Experience with telecommuting preferred, but not required
