We Are Hiring Specimen Processing TechDepartment: Lab St John TulsaSchedule: PRN Night Shift Sat and Sun 7pm-7am rotating holidaysLocation: RML 41st Mingo, Tulsa, Ok.Regional Medical Laboratory Inc. (RML), part of Ascension St. John, is a nationally-renowned commercial reference laboratory that provides testing services for physicians and hospitals within a four-state region and performs more than 9 million procedures each year. RML provides services for multiple hospitals in the Oklahoma region and several satellite locations in Tulsa, northeastern and central Oklahoma and southeastern Kansas.Responsibilities:As an Associate with Ascension St John, you will have the opportunity to facilitate the testing and tracking of specimensPrepares specimens for testing, analysis or shipment to external laboratories. Collects blood specimens from patients following established procedures.

Performs data entry and tracks specimens. Records daily information in required laboratory logs and performs audits.

Maintains specimen handling and testing supplies.

Performs proper disposal of specimens.

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:Preferred Credential(s):Phlebotomy Tech.

Education:Diploma

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Work Experience:None required.
