Create Tomorrow.Become a leader at a leading company.Become a Zebra!We are seeking a Director Sales Engineering for Zebra Prescriptive Analytics (ZPA) with pre-sales experience in enterprise application software. The hands on leader will provide pre-sales support to the sales engineering team through knowledge of our solution and understanding of the retail landscape.The role develops a team of pre-sales engineers, who serve as technical product specialists, performing activities such as delivering product demos, preparing RFP responses, assisting in sales presentations, and generating quotes.The Director, Sales Engineering will gather requirements and customer feedback, in order to ensure our success against assigned targets annually. As the direct line manager of the sales engineers you will be responsible for training, career development and other management activities to support your team.ResponsibilitiesCoach, lead and drive all activities for our Sales Engineering team.

Partner closely with sales management to meet the company’s business objectives and ensure the successful sale and deployment of company solutions across all retail customers.

Providing technical advice and support, the role will involve closely working with sales colleagues and input into the qualification and sales strategies in partnership with sales.

Solves complex problems which require unique solutions (e.g. integration of multiple technologies) that impact multiple Zebra businesses

QualificationsMinimum QualificationsAdvanced degree or equivalent experience

12+ years of retail operations experience

Sales leadership and team coach; helps define the sales skills required for Zebra success and how best to obtain them

Preferred QualificationsSales engineering experience

Multi-task and strong prioritization skills to be able to handle the requests from the sales team

Creates policies and practices with appropriate functional support
