Fuku Sushi is breaking ground at our new GHOST kitchen locations in Logan Heights. We are a mom and pop kitchen with several delivery concepts that run out of one kitchen. There is no dine in but purely delivery. Our locations are Tucson, Tempe, Phoenix and now San Diego!

We are looking for hard working individuals to help join our team. We are also looking for individuals who will help us branch to other cities in the future. Whether you are here for long term or short term we are excited to meet you.

We are planning to open by the beginning of December and are screening for candidates now and will set up interviews within the next couple of weeks.

This is a tough kitchen environment and certainly isn’t for everyone. The kitchen is constantly bustling with prep, dishes, and tickets. If you thrive in a past-faced environment and don’t like a second of down-time, this role is for you.

Sushi Chef responsibilities include handling a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients, managing food stock and working with an attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Japanese cuisine.

-Prepare all types of sushi, including nigiri and sashimi

-Add additional flavors to sushi rolls with ginger, rice vinegar, wasabi and soy sauce, when appropriate

-Maintain hygiene principles in all cooking areas and clean your space at the end of the shift

Kitchen chef responsibilities you must be able to work in a fast paced environment and pull out orders efficiently in a compact kitchen. Experience working with Japanese/Asian cuisine is preferred, but not required if you are a quick study
