Role: Security Analyst Experience Level: 3 Years (Junior Level) Duration: 6-month renewable contract Remote JD:Your key responsibility will be to manage and ensure the security tools that the blue team use on a daily basis are running and configured correctly. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for security and love tweaking and optimizing security tools to ensure they operate in a highly efficient manner. You will have a strong business acumen balancing the need for better security and the friction these controls could have on a working environment. You will understand the importance for documenting changes and gaining relevant approvals for deviations from architectural designs or highlighting problems with architectural designs in an operational environment. You will love learning everything you can about defense tools and can be seen tinkering and playing with those tools in your lab in your spare time. Skills:- Degree in Computer science or equivalent
- CISSP or 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Carbon Black configuration and operational management. –
- Experience configuring and managing vulnerability and configuration scans in Qualys
- Experience in Qualys configuration
- Experience managing firewall rules
- Experience in managing DNS rule sets
- Firewall knowledge: Palo Alto or Fortigate or Mako or Meraki would be a plus
