Production Support Software Engineer

- Engage with business users, application owners, vendors, and other affected parties during incident resolution.
- Experience on Java J2EE technology stack including but not limited to Spring, Hibernate, and Spring MVC
- Building scripts (SQL, Shell) to resolve incidents in automated fashion
- Support one or more highly complex applications
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents.
- Perform analysis to resolve application data issues.
- 3+ year's experience with Java & Spring OR Spring REST
- Troubleshooting, support, incident resolution experience
- Docker & Kubernetes experience
- Application Support experience
- 3-5 years prior application development experience
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with application development and production support.
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Need to be able to provide support, know where to look in logs for information, etc. so they need a coding background
- Should be familiar with monitoring tool such as ELK
- Experience with Kafka, MySQL and Redis (would be plus)
- Organized, ability to meet deadlines, work independently, manage multiple priorities
