Date Posted:2020-10-29-07:00Country:United States of AmericaLocation:HCA99: Field Office - CA Remote Location, Remote City, CA, 06032 USAThis role is responsible for serving our North American customers from a strategically located remote office, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation and possess an extensive array of experiences that relate to various aircraft and avionics systems. Primary Responsibilities:Provide remote and onsite technical support for customers that require avionics, satcom and cabin network equipment configuration for ARINC Direct services.

Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting support on above systems, liaising with various equipment OEMs to resolve customer issues in a timely manner. Able to demonstrate a logical and well developed troubleshooting methodology, cultivated from years of on-aircraft experience.

Provide onsite technical support for customer modifications, upgrades and equipment installations.

Act as primary technical support contact for specific customers/regions and be responsible for any technical issues raised; be able to establish and grow strong customer relationships with maintenance personnel and contacts at all corporate levels.

Act as secondary support for other US Field Service team members in order to help cover issues and provide additional expert knowledge where necessary.

Provide support and advice to the sales team; engage in a technical sales role when required.

Help to compile and maintain configuration and troubleshooting guides, ensuring the group’s technical resources are kept up to date.

Maintain level of expertise on all OEM’s datalink, satcom and cabin network equipment, in order to ensure swift resolution of customer issues.

Conduct in-depth technical training to customers in a variety of training environments, with a high standard of presentation skills, remotely or at Customer premises.

Maintain familiarity with all ARINCDirect services to enable discussions with existing and prospective customers to promote all of the company’s offerings.

Be able to work on their own initiative, manage their own travel and support requirements, build good relationships with other team members and foster a strong mutually supportive attitude within the team.

Basic Qualifications:Experience working with aircraft avionics systems.

Expertise in Satcom and cabin networking systems

Must be able to travel (upto 70%) with short notice to a customer location (generally >24 hrs notice).

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:Motivated self-starter with problem-solving talent, must be able to self-manage and work independently.

Communication and interpersonal skills and ability to prepare and present technical reports and briefings in a clear and concise manner to internal and external customers.

Detail-oriented, organized with the ability to work on multiple accounts and activities simultaneously.

Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and to anticipate and mitigate problems; excellent conflict resolution, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
